The Meta Verified service costs $11.99 for desktop and $14.99 for mobile.

Meta will launch a paid subscription service that will allow Facebook and Instagram users to verify their accounts for $14.99 per month. This is what the director of the company Mark Zuckerberg said.

“A new feature called Meta Verified will give users a blue checkmark, additional protection against accounts impersonating you, and direct access to support,” he wrote on Facebook.

The service costs $11.99 for PC and $14.99 per month for iOS and Android.

According to Zuckerberg, Meta Verified will allow users to verify their accounts with a government-issued ID.

Meta Verified users will also have access to more features to increase visibility and reach, such as search visibility and recommendations.

This week the paid subscription service will launch in Australia and New Zealand.

Recall that last summer Telegram launched a paid Premium subscription.

The number of active users of the social network Facebook reached two billion a day
