According to the results of 2022, JSC Ukrzaliznytsia received a net loss of UAH 10.8 billion, this year the company expects losses in the amount of UAH 20.2 billion. According to the financial plan for 2023, revenues are expected at UAH 83.9 billion, expenses – UAH 107.9 billion, EBITDA (earnings net interest, taxes and depreciation charges) – UAH 8.4 billion.
The company also plans to raise UAH 1.7 billion. from the state budget and pay in favor of the state UAH 22.8 billion.
Capital investments will reach UAH 50 billion, which is four times higher than in the past.
The company stressed that despite experiencing difficulties, they do not plan to increase tariffs for freight and passenger transportation.
