“The European Union provided on Monday of EUR 1.2 billion in macro-financial assistance, of which EUR 600 million has already been paid, the remaining EUR 600 million will be paid as soon as possible this month,” he said.
The official also reminded that on May 5, a donors ’conference will be held, organized by Poland and Sweden. “This will be a fundraiser for humanitarian aid,” he said.
In addition, the EU representative said that it is necessary to rebuild Ukraine after the war in accordance with “European standards, in accordance with the European” green “deal, along with the digitalization agenda, with the best principles of public administration, the rule of law – in every sense – in accordance with European standards “.
“This is exactly how we think it can be done, that we can do it together. Of course, it will require very deep cooperation from our side in Ukraine,” he added.
