It is indicated that the growth of exports to the EU became possible, in particular, due to the opening of European markets for Ukrainian goods (temporary trade liberalization for one year, economic visa-free travel), the initiative of the EU Solidarity Pathway, customs visa. -free travel, visa-free travel, etc.
Also, exports grew thanks to measures to support the Ukrainian economy: tax liberalization, deregulation, support for producers, export insurance using ECA tools.
The Ministry of Economy believes that the dynamics of Ukraine’s foreign trade indicators in 2023 will develop in the direction of gradual compensation for the losses incurred in 2022.
“The budget for 2023 provides for an increase in exports of goods and services by 7.2%. This takes into account the current situation in the production complex with access to three ports on the Black Sea for the export of agricultural products, the gradual expansion of domestic demand, the need for IT services in the world etc.,” the message said.
Recall that in 2022, exports of goods from Ukraine will decrease by 35% to $44.1 billion. At the same time, metallurgy suffered the most.
