On the third day of the restart protests to advance elections in Peruthere was a fall food supply at the Great Wholesale Market of Lima (GMML).
According to the report of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Mr.midagri), today Friday, January 6, GMML supply fell 19.2% compared to the previous four Fridays.
Midagri also reported a decrease in the supply of potatoes, as it arrived this morning 29% less than average.
With the drop in supply, there has also been a rise in prices for 10 of the 26 agricultural products that enter GMML on a daily basis.
What products have raised prices?
The report shows prices for items such as mountain green peas up 11.3%, but they also rose for American green peas and canary green beans, which are 75 cents more expensive than yesterday.
Other products that rose, albeit marginally, were black potatoes, pumpkin, long olluco, purple garlic, criollo, American green beans and red onions, which rose to S/0.10.
