From the first days of the war, the bank supports the defenders of Ukraine. And this is another 150 lives saved every month. The bank makes the first installment – 3 million hryvnias.
Among FUIB’s partners in supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces are well-known and large charitable foundations, such as KSE Foundation and Serhiy Prytula Foundation, as well as small voluntary organizations, and together we are doing something important.
The constant need of Ukrainian soldiers at zero is hemostatic agents of tactical medicine and blood components. Therefore, the FUIB initiated the social project “We are of the same blood” to support Ukrainian small businesses and arts, promote donor initiatives and help the injured. This is a large-scale partnership project of the bank, the logistics company “Nova Poshta”, 6 Ukrainian manufacturers and 4 illustrators, 2 public organizations. Half of the cost of each order of patriotic merch created by Ukrainian manufacturers is transferred by the bank to the DonorUA and Blood Agents charitable foundations. Collected funds are used to meet donor blood needs, deliver blood components to hot spots and purchase tactical medicine for Ukrainian soldiers. Ukrainians support this project by donating blood at donor centers.
In five months, the initiative “We are of the same blood” collected UAH 2 million. The funds were used to purchase more than 1,000 tactical hemostatic drugs and 24 deliveries of blood components to hot spots, and each such delivery saved thousands of lives. More than 450 Ukrainians have become donors, and this is the hope for recovery for more than 900 people. We supported Ukrainian manufacturers and designers for more than UAH 6 million. More than 10 million Ukrainians learned about the project.
