Akhmetov: 16 of my businesses have filed lawsuits against Russia, 10 more are preparing

The businessman said that his entire business system works to ensure that Russia pays in full for the unleashed war, destroyed factories and infrastructure.

SCM group companies are doing everything possible for Russia to fully compensate the Ukrainians for the unleashed war and destroyed infrastructure. This was said by the owner of SCM, businessman Rinat Akhmetov, RBC-Ukraine reports.

“I have never handled legal issues as much as I do now. Our whole system works so that Russia will pay in full for the unleashed war, destroyed factories and infrastructure,” he said.

According to him, 16 Metinvest businesses have filed a case at the ECHR against the aggressor for the damage it caused, and 10 more are preparing them.

Akhmetov added that now the main task of all his enterprises is “to do everything for the success of Ukraine.”

“The main thing is the victory in the war and the Marshall Plan for the new Ukraine. What I believe in. And we will return the rest quickly,” he stressed, adding that he is interested in Ukraine becoming a member of the European Union as soon as possible soon, it remains a democratic country with the rule of law and a competitive economy.

Recall, earlier it was reported that Akhmetov arrived in Kyiv on February 23. Since then, according to his press service, he has been in Ukraine. In May 2022, he topped the rating of entrepreneurs helping Ukraine.
