The enemy media continues to spread disinformation about war, negotiations and Western weapons.
Russian propagandists launched new fakes after the meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States, Vladimir Zelensky and Joe Biden. This was announced on December 22 by the Center for Counteracting Disinformation.
According to enemy media, at a press conference after the talks, Biden said that Zelensky was open to a dialogue about peace with the Russian Federation and that the Ukrainian leader “rose as a confirmation.”
“This information is not true,” the JRC insisted.
In addition, the Russian ambassador to the US, Anatoly Antonov, called the statements of the US administration about the lack of intention to confront Moscow “an empty phrase”.
“To applaud and cynical smiles, in fact, the need to continue the war by proxy against [России]… until complete victory … to us,” said the Russian diplomat.
The statement by the representative of the Russian Federation was disinformation, the JRC pointed out.
Also, the network republished a video with Western weapons allegedly transferred to Ukraine, which, allegedly, this time ended up in Syria.
“However, as authorized representatives of the Ukrainian and American sides have repeatedly assured, such information does not correspond to the truth,” the Center noted.
It will be recalled that on December 21, the Ukrainian leader flew to the United States, where he met with his American counterpart, Joe Biden, and also spoke to Congress.
