The temporary crossing of the Irpin River was opened

Both cars, trucks and buses will be able to move at the crossing, according to the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

Near Gostomel, a temporary crossing was opened across the Irpen River to connect Gostomel and Bucha to Kyiv. This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Oleksiy Kuleba.

“We continue to restore transportation links in the Kyiv region. Today, a temporary crossing has been opened in the Gostomel area on the M-07 Kyiv-Kovel-Yagodin highway, which will provide transportation connections between Kyiv, Gostomel and Bucha across the Irpen River, ”Kuleba said.

It was reported that both cars and trucks and buses could move along the crossing. Travel restrictions – for vehicles weighing more than 10 tons.

“It will revive the economic life of the region,” the official stressed.

Earlier it was reported that a temporary bulk bridge has been opened connecting Irpen and Bucha in Kyiv.
