The United States of America is providing another package of military aid to Ukraine. Among other things, it will include the Patriot missile defense system.
It takes months to learn how to operate the Patriot system. This, in reference to US defense officials on Wednesday, December 21, reports the Qatari TV channel Al Jazeera.
As the TV channel learned, the training of the Ukrainian military to control the Patriot will take place on the territory of Germany, as well as in another, not yet named country.
According to experts, the Patriot missiles that Kyiv will receive will give the Ukrainians a “quality addition” to their air defense.
At the same time, the date of delivery of the anti-aircraft missile system directly to the territory of Ukraine is still unknown.
Note that the Patriot air defense system can simultaneously track up to 50 targets and hit them at a distance of up to 160 km.
Remember, on December 21, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, arrived on a visit to the United States. On the eve of his arrival, the State Department announced a $1.85 billion military aid package, including Patriot systems.
