In the first quarter of 2023, Paris will send a new military aid package to Ukraine with weapons and ammunition, as well as Caesar artillery mounts.
France has supplied Ukraine with rocket launchers and weapons, and will send more early next year. This is what French President Emmanuel Macron said, reports Tuesday, December 20, France 24.
“In recent days, France has sent Ukraine more weapons, rocket launchers, Crotale (air defense batteries) and equipment,” Macron said.
He added that he is working with the Minister of Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu to deliver useful weapons and ammunition again in the first quarter of 2023 to Ukrainians for protection.
The planned deliveries include new Caesar mobile artillery mounts, but Macron did not give an exact number.
It was previously reported that France provided two Crotale air defense systems to Ukraine to protect the skies. In addition, in November, Kyiv received the fourth French LRU air defense system.
