The head of the food staff was informed of a suspicion of the fact of misuse of military property with abuse of official position, committed under martial law. It was reported by the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office.
It was noted that the suspect in February-December 2022 in the territory of Donbass and Dnipropetrovsk region established an illegal sale of military property. Having the appropriate uniform (shoes, clothes, helmet, body armor, as well as 15,000 packs of cigarettes), he took the said property from the territory of the rear command post of the military unit for the purpose of further illegal that sale. Thus, the state suffered more than one million hryvnia damages.
During the authorized searches, military property, tobacco products, money and other items were seized, the report said.
While the suspect is in jail. The defendant faces a sentence of 10 to 15 years in prison.

It was also reported that a resident of Krivoy Rog was detained for selling weapons and ammunition.
