“The total capacity of the two blocks is limited by more than 600 MW due to the inability of the energy system to accept the full possible amount of electricity from them, since the energy infrastructure facilities have not yet been restored after the decommissioning in December 16. ,” the statement said.
The NNEGC hopes to restore the infrastructure as soon as possible for “the possibility of the earliest possible release of full usable capacity from domestic nuclear power plants.”
Earlier on Sunday, Ukrenergo announced that the nuclear power plants had reached their planned capacity. At the same time, electricity consumption in the country increased compared to Saturday, which affected the deficit indicators in the energy system.
