In the Kyiv region, there are still emergency power outages, said Alexei Kuleba.
The Kyiv region in the coming days may return to planned blackouts, but for now there are emergency restrictions in the region. This was said by the head of Kyiv OVA Oleksiy Kuleba, reports RBC-Ukraine on Sunday, December 18.
According to him, there is still an emergency shutdown in the region. Almost 600 thousand people are without electricity. However, Kuleba stressed that on Tuesday, December 20, the situation in the Kyiv region could improve.
“We plan to return to scheduled outages around Tuesday,” the head of the OVA said.
The previous day, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he managed to restore the light for almost 6 million Ukrainians in one day after a massive missile attack by Russian aggressors.
And Ukrenergo noted that Ukraine’s energy system has a major power shortage due to the consequences of the Russian missile attack.
