Over the past day, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in areas with more than 15 settlements.
The Russian invaders focused their efforts on conducting offensive operations in the directions of Bakhmut and Avdeevsky, and also tried to improve the tactical situation in the direction of Limansky. This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning briefing on Sunday, December 18.
So, in the past day, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in areas with more than 15 settlements. In particular, Stelmahovka and Serebryansky forestry of Lugansk region and Verkhnekamensky, Vyemka, Vesele, Bakhmut, Kleshchievka, Experienced, Pervomaisky, Nevelsky and Krasnogorovka of Donetsk region.
In the past 24 hours, the enemy fired five missiles and fired 42 rocket launchers.
In the direction of Volyn and Polesye the situation is unchanged, no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy have been found.
In the directions of Seversky and Slobozhanskyx invaders fired in the areas of Seredina-Buda and Volkovka settlements of the Sumy region and Strelka, Glubokoe, Staritsa, Volchansk, Volokhovka, Chugunovka, Novomlynsk and Dvurechnaya-Kharkovskaya.
In the direction of Kupyansky the districts of Berestovoye, Yagodnoye, Kotlyarovka and Krakhmalnoye in the Kharkiv region and Novoselovsky and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region suffered from fire damage.

In the directions of Bakhmut and Avdeevsky more than 15 settlements fell under enemy fire. Among them are Verkhnekamennoe, Controversial, Belogorovka, Soledar, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut, Chasov Yar, Experienced, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka of the Donetsk region.
Under the direction of Novopavlovsky, the invaders did not conduct active operations. To clarify the position of Ukrainian troops, UAVs were deployed in the Shevchenkove settlement area.
In the directions of Zaporozhye and Kherson the enemy opened fire from tanks, mortars, cannons and rocket artillery of 24 settlements. In particular, Belogorye, Novodanilovka, Orekhov, Stepnoye, Plavnye in Zaporozhye and Cossack, Tyaginko, Nikolskoye, Kherson and Dnieper Kherson region.
“On December 16 this year, units of the Defense Forces opened fire on several places of concentration of the enemy’s manpower and military equipment, as well as two of its ammunition depots in the Zaporozhye region,” said of the General Staff.
In total, more than 150 personnel of the aggressor were injured, 10 units of various types of military equipment were destroyed. Refers to information about liquidated invaders.
“The command of the occupying forces plans to introduce a round-the-clock curfew in settlements in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporozhye region. In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit eight enemy concentration areas, two command posts and four enemy ammunition depots.
