The Hungarian Foreign Minister mentioned that Budapest will receive Qatari liquefied natural gas through terminals on the Adriatic coast in Croatia.

It should be noted that on August 31, Hungary signed an additional contract with Gazprom. The agreement provides for the supply of an additional 5.8 million cubic meters of gas per day from September 1 – that is, almost half of what Russia must supply under the current contract.

In addition, a month and a half earlier, on July 13, Hungary opposed the embargo on Russian gas supplies.
