We are in 1895. Auguste Levasseur (Fred Radix) the famous “cheerleader” appears without his slap. a group of people responsible for applauding the show and thus ensuring its success. Typically, the piece is delivered with great fanfare, strong performers, a large chorus, a large orchestra, and thirty set changes. The unlikely story sees a poor fisherman embark on an unlikely adventure. Auguste Levasseur, deprived of his troupe, is forced to recruit the public to play the “cliques” as well as manager Dugommier (Guillaume Collignon) and his sister Fauvette (Alice Nouri).
