Members of the Last Generation movement have been accused of disrupting the work of socially important businesses after attacks on refineries and actions at airports.
The German police on the morning of Tuesday, December 13, conducted searches on several lands in the apartments of eco-activists from the movement latest generationfighting for climate protection.
The prosecutor’s office launched an investigation against 11 activists. Five of them are in custody, according to the movement. They are accused of disrupting the work of important social enterprises, and are also being investigated for the possible creation of a criminal organization.
The main reason, according to the media, is some actions taken the latest generation at the PCK refinery in Schwedt (Brandenburg). In particular, members of the movement penetrated the area of pumping stations and blocked the supply of oil.
