Electricity supply has been restored in 80 settlements of Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions, which suffered from Russian shelling.
During the week from December 5 to December 11, DTEK electrical engineers restored power supply to 77,000 households in 80 settlements of Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions that were left without electricity due to enemy shelling. This was reported by the company’s press service on Tuesday, December 13.
“The specialists of the operators of the distribution system of DTEK Grids, despite the shelling and difficult situation with battles, continue to restore electricity grids with the permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service . Since February 24, we managed to restore light to 5.9 million families in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk areas and Kiev. A significant part of them was restored at least 5 times due to regular peeling, ” said Alexander Fomenko, General Director of DTEK Grids.
The Rinat Akhmetov energy company recalled that due to 8 massive terrorist attacks by the Russian Federation on the energy infrastructure in Ukraine, power outages continue to operate. On December 9, DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids introduced updated schedules of stabilization shutdowns, taking into account the current difficult situation in the energy system after the last massive outage.
Earlier today, DTEK announced the full restoration of electricity supply in Odessa and the region.
