The process of “birth” takes several hours, so the researchers had to film it in fragments.
Ukrainian polar explorers have filmed a unique video, capturing the moment of the birth of a subantarctic penguin cub. It was posted on the Facebook page of the National Antarctic Science Center.
“We shot an incredible video for you! Here you can see how a subantarctic penguin hatched from an egg nest near our Akademik Vernadsky station,” the message said.
It is noted that the process of “birth” itself takes several hours, so the researchers had to shoot it in fragments, and then edit it into a shorter video.
Recall that a few days ago it was reported that the first penguin of this era was born at the station of Academician Vernadsky.
