After eight waves of Russian missile attacks, all thermal and hydroelectric power plants in the country were destroyed.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that 40% of high-voltage network facilities in Ukraine were damaged as a result of the massive Russian strikes.

According to him, the lack of capacity in Ukraine remains significant.

“After eight waves of missile attacks on the country, all thermal and hydroelectric power stations were damaged, 40% of high-voltage network facilities were damaged to varying degrees. Each of us must realize that we will go through this winter with significant restrictions on electricity consumption,” the prime minister said.

Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers invited businesses to work at night. Industrial facilities in Ukraine may switch to a night work schedule to save energy resources.

It was also reported that priority objects for providing electricity will be determined in Ukraine.
