It was noted that at 16:16 today, December 10, Service 101 received a message that an explosion occurred in a five-story building of the Shakhtersky microdistrict of the city of Novovolynsk.
“The explosion occurred in an apartment on the 5th floor. According to preliminary data, a tourist gas cylinder exploded, and another one exploded from it,” the report said.
There is a mother with two children in the apartment.
“The woman suffered minor burns. The doctors assisted her on the spot, she refused hospitalization. The man who was just approaching the door of the apartment, fell on the stairs from the explosive wave. He was wounded in the head,” the service said.
It was learned that the windows and doors in the apartment were damaged by the explosion, as were the doors in the house next door.
The State Emergency Service noted that as a result, a fire broke out that consumed household items, ceilings and walls.
Earlier it was reported that five people were injured in the explosion of a gas cylinder in Kyiv.
