Over the past day, Defense Forces units have repelled attacks by Russian invaders in the areas of Belogorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Klishchievka and Maryinka in the Donetsk region. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in the morning report on December 9.
The enemy launched five missiles and three air strikes, and also made 54 shellings from multiple launch rocket systems.
And the threat of missile strikes against energy system facilities and critical infrastructure across Ukraine remains.
In the direction of Seversk, the enemy fired mortars at the settlements of Khodyno, Sosnovka, Kondratovka and Zapsilye, Sumy region.
At the direction of Slobozhansky, the areas of the settlements of Strelka, Ternovaya, Staritsa, Ogirevo and Kupyansk of the Kharkov region received fire damage from mortars and cannon artillery.
In the direction of Kupyansk, the enemy is on the defensive. Shelling from tanks and artillery of various types was recorded in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka, Peschanoe and Pervomayskoye in the Kharkiv region and Novoselovskoe and Stelmakhovka in the Luhansk region.
In the direction of Limansky, the enemy fired artillery in the areas of Grekovka, Makeevka, Ploschanka, Nevsky and Krasnopopovka in the Luhansk region, Torsky and Grigorievka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut and Avdeevsky, the enemy did not stop attempts at offensive operations. Areas of 25 settlements were subjected to shelling from tanks, mortars and rocket artillery. Among them are Berdychi, Andreevka, Verkhnekamenskoye, Berestovo, Belogorovka, Vesele, Soledar, Bakhmut, Poll, Avdeevka, Pervomayskoye, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka of the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Novopavlovsky, the enemy is on the defensive. Shelled Vuhledar, Prechistovka, Zolotaya Niva and Bolshaya Novoselka in Donetsk region.
In the direction of Zaporizhia, the enemy opened fire from tanks and artillery in the areas of 14 settlements. In particular, Vremovka, Velyka Novoselka and Novopol of the Donetsk region and Dorozhnyanka, Gulyaipol, Novodanilovka and Stepne of the Zaporozhye region.
In the direction of Kherson, the enemy is conducting defensive operations. Tank and artillery attacks were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Berislav, Kazatskoye, Antonovka, Komyshany, Dneprovskoye and Veletenskoye of the Kherson region and on the outskirts of Kherson.
The enemy continues to suffer losses. On December 7 of this year, as a result of fire damage to the concentration areas of the occupiers in the areas of the cities of Berdyansk, Tokmak, Melitopol, Energodar, Dneprorudnoye, Pology and Vasilyevka of the Zaporozhye region, the losses of enemy reached approximately 240 people were injured. Three ammunition depots and about 20 units of various types of military equipment were destroyed. The hospital deployed on the basis of the Tokmak TB dispensary was completely filled with wounded servicemen of the Russian occupation forces.
Rockets and artillery units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit eight command posts, 11 places of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, and two shells of the invaders.
It was previously reported that on Thursday, December 8, Russian troops launched 55 strikes in the communities of Khotyn and Shalygin in the Sumy region.
