Ukraine has asked the US to supply cluster munitions. As CNN has learned, senior Biden administration officials have been considering the request for months and have not simply rejected it, which has not been reported.

“Ukraine’s ability to achieve victory in the current and future phases of the war is not dependent on or linked to their acquisition of ammunition,” the congressman’s aide said.
