Russian troops must be expelled from Crimea – London

In Britain, they believed that Ukraine needed to be armed to an extent that it could fully liberate its territories in the Crimea and Donbass.

During the current war, Ukraine must liberate its territories in Crimea and Donbass, and the West will help with weapons and sanctions against Russia. This was stated by British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, reports The Times.

He urged Western countries to help Ukraine completely withdraw Russian troops from Ukraine and said that if Russian President Vladimir Putin succeeds in achieving territorial victories, he could cause “incalculable new suffering across Europe. “

“This is an all-out war, because Ukrainian victory is a strategic necessity for all of us,” Truss said.

He stressed that Russian troops during the war should be expelled, including the “republics” of Crimea and the Donbas.

Regarding weapons, Truss said “we need to take a deeper look at our stocks, we need to increase production” so that Ukraine can get the heavy weapons, tanks and aircraft it needs.

In addition, according to Truss, the West should help build the defense capabilities of Moldova and Georgia, because Putin could also attack these countries.

With regard to Russia, according to the head of the British Foreign Office, it is necessary to use all available economic levers to expel the country from the Western market.

Truss also stressed that Putin needs to be deprived of the opportunity to declare his victory in Ukraine and “use this war as a catalyst to establish a new world order.”

At the same time, Truss acknowledged that the war in Ukraine could last “up to five years or even a decade,” and that Putin could use weapons of mass destruction in a desperate attempt to break the deadlock.

Earlier in Britain, they said the Armed Forces of Ukraine had a “legal right” to hit targets in Russia.

In response, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed that, following the logic of the British minister, Russia could strike the military targets of NATO countries providing weapons to Kyiv. Where in London they responded that Russia’s threats to NATO countries would only strengthen its status as a pariah.
