The Russian invaders continue their armed aggression against our state. They do not stop attacking civilian infrastructure, trying to hold temporarily occupied territories, building defense lines there. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in the morning report on December 6.
At the direction of Bakhmut and Avdeevsky, the enemy continued to conduct an offensive, actively using aviation to support the actions of its ground groups. 20 settlements were subjected to shelling from tanks and the entire artillery range, including Belogorovka, Soledar, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut , Klishchievka, Belaya Gora, Druzhba, Avdeevka, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye, Krasnogorovka, Maryinka, Novomikhailovka, region of Donetsk. The enemy was hit by military air forces in the areas of the settlements of Spirnoe, Kamenka, Marinka.
In the past day, the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the invaders in the areas of settlements of Verkhnekamenskoye, Bakhmut, Andreevka, Yakovlevka, Soledar, Kurdyumovka, Krasnogorovka, Donetsk region.
The enemy does not stop shelling the settlements and positions of our units on the line of collision, and conducts aerial reconnaissance. Critical infrastructure and civilian homes continue to be targeted in violation of International Humanitarian Law and the laws and customs of war.
Over the past day, the enemy launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine’s critical and civilian infrastructure. Residential buildings and critical infrastructure facilities were hit in Vinnitsa, Kyiv, Nikolaev, Odessa and other regions.
The enemy launched 70 Kh-101, Kh-555, Kh-22, Kh-59, Kh-31 P and Kalibr missiles over the entire territory of Ukraine. More than 60 missiles of the invaders destroyed the air defense units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The threat of enemy missile attacks on energy system facilities and critical infrastructure throughout Ukraine remains.
Over the past day, the enemy has launched 17 air strikes and carried out 38 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the directions of Volyn and Polesye, the situation remains unchanged, no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy were found.
Over the past 24 hours, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces delivered 15 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as five strikes on the positions of the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems .
Missile and artillery units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit two command posts, eight personnel concentration areas and one important enemy object in one day.
It will be remembered that on Monday, December 5, the terrorist country launched the eighth mass missile attack on Ukraine in the past two months.
However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned that the enemy still has enough planes and that the Russian Federation may attack Ukraine’s infrastructure again.
