A pseudo-referendum is also possible in the temporarily occupied region of Kherson on the creation of a “Kherson People’s Republic”, Meduza reports.
The illegal armed group “L/DPR” is preparing to hold a referendum on joining the Russian Federation in May. This was reported by the publication Meduza.
Publication sources reported that on May 14 and 15, the pseudo-republics of the “LPR” and “DPR” may hold a “referendum” on joining the Russian Federation and participate within the “historical” border of Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine.
It was also reported that on the same days a pseudo-referendum was possible in the temporarily occupied region of Kherson. There, according to sources of the publication, they plan to raise the issue of independence of the region from Ukraine and the creation of the “Kherson People’s Republic” with the eye of further “joining” the Russian Federation.
Thus, the Russian Federation plans to establish full control over the Donbass and southern Ukraine.
It was noted that the “referendum” was prepared for the end of April, but due to the failures of the Russian army on the front. In case of further defeat, the “referendums” were planned to be postponed to a more “favorable” time.
The sources of the publication also note that the employees of the presidential administration do not believe that Russia should join the “depressed regions”, but it is the personal desire of the “top leadership”, that is, the President Vladimir Putin.
Recall that in Britain they drew a parallel between the upcoming “vote” in the Kherson region and the “referendum” in Crimea in 2014, organized by Moscow.
