The former Paraguayan security minister and drug prosecutor was found dead with two shots to the head at his residence in AssumptionThis was announced by the police on Friday.
“The body of the ex-minister Javier Ibarra He was found in the kitchen of his house. We have no information on previous complaints of threats,” the head of the homicide unit, Commissioner Cesar Silguero, said at a press conference.
“The autopsy confirms that he died as a result of two shots to the temple,” the policeman added.

In this power struggle, everyone knows where his shoe is,” Ibarra said in one of his last public statements in 2018 before he gave up public service dedicate himself to the profession of a criminal lawyer.
His statements referred to the murder of a lawyer, Argentine citizen Laura Casuso, defender of Brazilians accused of drug trafficking.
