At the NATO summit in Bucharest, they decided to contribute additional funds to the comprehensive aid package to Kyiv.
NATO allies announced additional contributions to the alliance’s comprehensive aid package for Ukraine. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced this at a press conference in Bucharest on November 30, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“NATO Foreign Ministers made it clear that our military support to Ukraine, especially additional air defense, is critical. Allies also announced additional contributions to the NATO Comprehensive Assistance Package, which provides Ukraine with non-lethal assistance, especially fuel and generators,” he stressed.
According to Stoltenberg, Ukraine achieved significant results, but Russia should not be underestimated.
“Russian missiles and drones continue to attack Ukrainian cities, civilians and critical infrastructure. This is causing incredible human suffering as winter sets in,” the Secretary General added.
Earlier, Stoltenberg assured that NATO will not back down from supporting Ukraine and will provide assistance if needed.
