Foreign Ministers of the G7+ countries discussed the situation on critical energy infrastructure in Ukraine to coordinate efforts to provide assistance. This is what German Foreign Minister Annalen Berbock said, the website of the German Foreign Ministry on Tuesday, November 29.
The German official, in his capacity as the current G7 Foreign Minister, invited the wider G7+ group to discuss joint efforts to provide emergency support to Ukraine.
In particular, more than 20 foreign ministers took part in the discussion, including the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, as well as the NATO Secretary General, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the World Bank.
“United in their commitment to support Ukraine, participants discussed the critical energy infrastructure situation in Ukraine to better understand and prioritize the most urgent needs of the Ukrainian people and to coordinate efforts for helping,” he said.
The German Foreign Minister also emphasized the importance of the meeting on the way to the International Conference on the Civilian Resilience Ukraine, which will be held on December 13 in Paris.
To be remembered, the justice ministers of the G7 countries will hold a joint summit on November 28 and 29 in Berlin to discuss the investigation of Russian war crimes in Ukraine.
