The country’s energy system must be protected from further attacks by the Russian Federation with the help of air defense, said Dmitry Kuleba.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dmitry Kuleba, continues to insist on the transfer of Patriot air defense systems and transformers to Ukraine. He announced this at a meeting of Foreign Ministers of NATO countries, which took place in the Romanian capital of Bucharest on Tuesday, November 29.
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry noted that while the partners were thinking about these issues, the Ukrainians were sitting without electricity, water and heating after the Russian strikes.
According to him, the main topics for today are the supply of air defense systems to Ukraine and the restoration of energy infrastructure.
“There are two main messages: Patriot and transformers. Now it is critical not only to restore energy capacity, but also to ensure reliable protection of this equipment from further Russian attacks – this can be achieved in by strengthening our country’s air and missile defense,” the official insisted.
Kuleba also added that the Ukrainian air defense system needs to be integrated into the NATO system.
Recall that the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also mentioned earlier that the countries of the Alliance are forced to increase the production of weapons, because without investment in the production of weapons it is impossible to win on the battlefield for a long time.
