One of the enemy’s threats is Iranian kamikaze drones that fly at low altitudes to avoid detection by air defense systems.
Border guards received new lighting systems to search for kamikaze drones. This was reported by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The head of the Committee on the Health of the Nation, Mikhail Radutsky, together with Vladimir Andrusishin and Maxim Radutsky, provided lighting systems to the border guards.
Mikhail Radutsky emphasized that now one of the enemy’s threats are Iranian kamikaze drones that fly at low altitudes so that they cannot be detected by the air defense system.
“Modern lighting systems make it possible to identify enemy targets at night to make them harmless. Employees of the State Border Service, who first meet the enemy, need powerful systems of lighting,” he said.
Mikhail Radutsky noted that a month ago he handed over Acme KRAKEN lighting systems to the State Border Service. These are systems that make it possible to see at a distance of 2 km. According to the border guards, the lighting at night made it possible to shoot down some enemy targets. At this time, according to him, more powerful lighting systems were brought to the border guards – they illuminate up to 3 km.
“I want to thank the Ukrainian business that supported our charitable initiative: Maxim Radutsky, City Beach Club Kiev and the head of the Alight company Vladimir Andrusishin. We continue to support our heroes,” he stressed.
Earlier, intelligence reported that the Russian Federation could run out of Iranian drones.
