In the Vinnitsa region, a scheme to sell cars imported as humanitarian aid was exposed. Law enforcement officers seized cars for a total of UAH 1.5 million. This was reported to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
“According to the investigation, two brothers organized the sale of cars imported into Ukraine as humanitarian aid for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They posted ads on platforms for sale of cars. They received profit under the guise of paying charitable contributions to the bank account of a charitable foundation headed by one of the suspects. According to the request of the prosecutor’s office, both suspects were placed in pre -trial detention with the right to make a bail of UAH 2 million each,” the report said.
Earlier it was reported that in Ivano-Frankivsk a man stole medicine intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
