Kyiv military representatives from the Israel Defense Forces discussed the creation of systems to protect Ukrainian skies from missile attacks.
The Ukrainian delegation traveled to Israel for negotiations with representatives of the country’s Defense Army (IDF). The main topic of the talks was missile defense, Israeli journalist Moriah Asraf Wahlberg told Twitter.
According to him, the delegation from Ukraine included a high-ranking military officer, and information about the visit was announced in the editorial office on Monday night.
“A delegation from Kyiv, including a high-ranking member of the Ukrainian army, recently arrived in Israel for a series of meetings with IDF officials. The purpose of the official visit is to promote the construction of Ukrainians’ missile defense warning systems,” the statement said.
Wahlberg also noted that Israel wanted to keep the delegation’s visit secret “due to political sensitivity toward Moscow.”
Earlier, Israel announced its readiness to start supplying weapons to Ukraine if Russia receives ballistic missiles from Iran. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, commenting on this message, noted that Israel is the market leader for weapons and technological weapons.
