Lithuania will send funds to Ukraine for energy restoration

Currently, Lithuania has allocated more than 640 million euros to Ukraine. Of these, 232 million is military support.

The Lithuanian authorities have decided to give Ukraine an additional financial tranche for the reconstruction of the energy sector, which was damaged as a result of Russia’s shelling. It was announced on Sunday, November 27 at Twitter Defense Minister of Lithuania Arvydas Anushauskas.

“In the past few days, six trucks with 114 transformers were sent from Lithuania to Ukraine. Overall, Lithuania intends to supply 252 transformers. Lithuanian energy companies have already sent support for three million euros for the reconstruction of Ukraine’s energy sector, and another two million euros are being sent today,” he stressed.
