The President of Ukraine called on the citizens to be prepared that next week the invaders will try again to destroy our energy system.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his evening video message on November 27, warned Ukrainians that new strikes by occupiers of critical infrastructure facilities are possible next week.
“We understand that terrorists are preparing new strikes and as long as they have missiles they will not be silenced. But our ability to help each other and take care of the most vulnerable – the elderly, families with children, those whose homes and relatives have been displaced by the war… – our cooperation with each other is one of the elements of protection against terrorism and our strength,” Zelensky said.
He also mentioned that the beginning of the week can be just as difficult as the outgoing week.
“After the massive terrorist strike on Wednesday, we have continued to generate and supply electricity every day. For now, in most regions of the country, only stabilization schedules are in effect. We have worked around the clock to restore light, restore water to people, restore heat and connection to us,” the president said.
He also warned that next week could be just as difficult.
“Our defense forces are preparing. The entire state is preparing. All scenarios, including partners. And our unity must be prepared. So don’t leave without the help of those you can help. Please consider the signal this week air raid alert,” said Zelensky.
He said that all together and helping each other – we will overcome the challenge of war, this winter, Russia’s attempt to use the cold against people.
“We are doing and will do everything possible to strengthen our defense. We are doing and will do everything to bring Russia to justice for the terrorist war,” the head of state summed up.
Earlier, the leader of the Servant of the People group, David Arahamia, warned that next week could be very difficult. The politician urged Ukrainians to stock up on water and food, as well as charge gadgets, as the invaders prepare new attacks against energy facilities.
