Some flights are 12 hours behind schedule. The most difficult situation is in Intercity +, whose heating depends on the power grid.
Due to the blackout of a large part of the network, 81 trains were delayed for more than an hour. It was reported on the morning of November 24 at Ukrzaliznytsia.
The longest delays on routes:
-
No. 711 Kramatorsk-Kyiv (+12 h. 51 min.);
-
No. 749 Kyiv-Uzhgorod with a group of cars Kyiv-Vienna (+11 h. 08 min.);
-
No. 17 Kharkiv-Uzhgorod (+11 h. 04 min.);
-
No. 119 Zaporozhye-Lviv (+10 hours 58 minutes);
-
No. 3 Zaporozhye-Uzhgorod (+10 h. 17 min.).
It was mentioned that technically the most difficult delay is Intercity +, its heating depends on the power grid.
“We are equipped with thermal blankets, but still, we need to transport passengers comfortably and warm, so today two routes – to Kramatorsk (712) and to the Dnieper (732) – are taken by long-distance train with autonomous heating systems,” the company said.
It was emphasized that hubs with tea, coffee, hot food, children’s rooms, recharging and relaxation areas have been deployed at the stations.
AND Ukrzaliznytsia reminded that passengers who, under force majeure, do not board their trains on time, will be placed on the next flight with the same ticket.
Recall that on November 23, Russian troops carried out another massive missile attack, which led to a blackout throughout Ukraine.
Residential buildings and energy infrastructure facilities were hit in Kyiv and many regions of Ukraine.
