US President Joe Biden has instructed the head of the State Department, Anthony Blinken, to send up to $400 million in military support for Ukraine. On November 23, the White House reported.
“I have directed the Secretary of State to send up to $400 million in defense goods and services to the Department of Defense, Military Education and Training to assist Ukraine,” Biden said.
It was noted that the additional $400 million included weapons, ammunition and air defenses from US stockpiles.
According to the Pentagon, the latest military aid package includes:

missiles for the National Advanced Air Defense Systems (NASAMS);

150 heavy machine guns with thermal imaging sights to combat drones;

rockets for the highly mobile artillery rocket system (HIMARS);

200 high-precision artillery shells of 155 mm caliber;

10,000 120mm mortar shells;
-
high-velocity anti-radar missiles (HARM);
-
150 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV);

more than 100 light tactical vehicles;
-
more than 20,000,000 rounds of ammunition for small arms;
-
more than 200 generators;
-
spare parts for 105-mm howitzers and other equipment.
It was previously reported that the new shipment of US military aid to Ukraine includes 45 refurbished T-72 tanks; Hawk air defense systems; 250 M1117 armored personnel carriers; 40 armored boats; 1.1 thousand Phoenix Ghost drones.
Recall that Zelensky thanked the United States for $400 million in aid.
