The military aid will “strengthen Ukraine in exercising its right to self-defense,” the head of the country’s Defense Ministry stressed.
Luxembourg will supply Ukraine with HMMWV (Humvee) off-road vehicles. This was announced on Twitter on November 21 by Defense Minister Francois Bausch.
“The Luxembourg Army and the Ministry of Defense are supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine by sending additional highly mobile multi-purpose wheeled vehicles (HMMWV). In addition, the Luxembourg military will take part in the EUMAM Ukraine training mission, which will train 15,000 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
