The Polish Ministry of Defense plans to bring these air defense systems to the Ukrainian border, said Mariusz Blaszczak.

Poland has agreed to place Patriot air defense systems near the border with Ukraine, which Germany offered it the previous day. About that expressed Polish Minister of Defense Mariusz Blaszczak on his Twitter account on Monday, November 21.

“I gladly accepted the proposal of the German Defense Minister to deploy additional Patriot missile launchers in our country. Today, in a telephone conversation with the German side, I will propose that the system be placed near the border of Ukraine, ” he says.

The MIM-104 Patriot is an American anti-aircraft missile system, in service with the United States and the armies of allied countries. Produced by a group of American companies led by Raytheon.

As you know, after the missile crash in Poland, Germany offered Warsaw support in ensuring airspace security – with the help of Eurofighter fighters and Patriot air defense systems.

Recall that the fall of a rocket in the Polish village of Przewoduv, Lublin Voivodeship, near the Ukrainian border on November 15, caused the death of two people.
