In the Russian Federation, two soldiers were seditiously detained for refusing to go to war

A video appeared on the Russian Telegram channels of the detention of two servicemen who refused to go to war – the soldiers were defiantly tied during the formation, writes Meduza.

In the video, two soldiers were called to the parade ground at the same time, the investigator approached them and said that on November 16, a criminal case was opened against them under part 2.1 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (failure follow an order).

Then a convoy with stripes on their sleeves The military police almost stopped the soldiers. They were searched, handcuffed and put in a police car.

The video does not indicate when or where it was taken. But the video shows a green lawn, rainy weather, warm clothes of the soldiers. It is also not clear if the detainees are conscript or contract soldiers.

Soldiers face up to 3 years in prison. According to lawyer Maxim Grebenyuk, there is no need to stop the military in the territory of the military unit. He believes that the detention was carried out “honorably as a warning to others.”

Remember, as the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, said, the total number of those mobilized in Russia cannot exceed 300 thousand people.

And Russian President Vladimir Putin said that 318,000 people have been mobilized in the Russian Federation, of which 49,000 are already in the combat zone.
