The first patient who underwent such an operation recovered and, of his own free will, again went to a special operation, reported the military department of the Russian Federation.
In Russia, they say that their military doctors have mastered “a new method for complete restoration of arms and legs after mine and gun blast wounds.” It allows you to effectively recreate the bones of the injured, says the Ministry of Defense, reports RIA Novosti.
“For the first time in medical practice, military doctors of the Burdenko Main Military Clinical Hospital of the Russian Ministry of Defense in Moscow developed and implemented a new method of 3D modeling of implants for the full restoration of the limbs of patients who received serious mine.-explosives and gunshots during the “special military operation”” – they said there.
They said that the implant was installed in the place of the destroyed leg, after which it was filled with fragments of bone tissue, taken from other bones, transplanted or grown with the patient’s stem cells.
“This method allows you to restore the joints. It is also possible to regenerate the patient’s muscles and tissues, including the skin,” the doctors added.
According to them, some soldiers are already “recovering” and they are said to be fighting again.
Meanwhile, in the temporarily occupied Lugansk, the number of troops of the aggressor country Russia is increasing.
