In the Kharkiv region, law enforcement officials discovered 25 places where the Russian military tortured Ukrainians. This was announced by the head of the Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, Sergey Bolvinov.
“Since the beginning of the mass raid, police investigators and interrogators in the Kharkiv region registered 542 criminal proceedings for collaboration activities, 126 collaborators were suspected, 59 cases were sent to court. “Investigators have also discovered 25 cases of torture organized by the Russians during the occupation,” he said.
According to Bolvinov, detailed inspections of places of detention and torture of people were carried out – fingerprints, DNA, documents, rough notes and objects testifying to the crimes of the occupiers were seized.
“Witnesses and victims are recognized,” said the head of the Investigation Department.
