The head of state noted that Ukraine was able to break the “network of disinformation” built by Russia.
Ukraine “beat” Russia in the information space. This is what President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a speech at the University Community of Ireland on Friday, November 18.
The head of state noted that he agrees with the statement that social networks are “a battlefield and a field of opportunity.”
He also noted that Russia used it, providing false information to many countries in Africa, Asia, had a strong influence on Israel, Germany, and many EU countries. Russian disinformation channels operate even in the United States.
According to him, it is always difficult for the truth to fight lies, but Ukraine has also shown itself to be powerful in this field.
Zelensky noted that Ukraine understood that it is necessary to break this information lie, then we will be able to unite the whole world. The President also noted that Ukraine has walked this path very well, but it is not over yet.
He added that Russia had more weapons on the battlefield at the beginning of a full-scale invasion, but “in the information space, we were able to surpass them.”
As we wrote earlier, according to Zelensky, many African countries began to change their attitude towards Russia after it blocked the export of grain from Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea.
