The poet’s monument has stood on the territory of the Chernivtsi Higher Commercial School for more than half a century.

In Chernivtsi, a monument to the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin was dismantled from the territory of an educational institution. This was reported by the Chernivtsi City Council.

“Did you know that in Chernivtsi there are two monuments to the “great Russian poet” Pushkin? They are, because one has been dismantled. The other is a matter of time. We have enough of our own great artists and hero. Really?” City Hall said in a statement.
