The training program will be launched with the first batch of military personnel this year and will be integrated into the European Union’s planned training program for Ukraine.

Next year, the Czech Republic plans to train up to 4,000 Ukrainian servicemen. This is what the Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic Yana Chernokhova said, reports Sky News.

“Chernokhova said the exercises will be held in five four-week cycles, each involving up to 800 military personnel,” the report said.

He added that it will cost the Czech Republic about $41.6 million.

It was also reported that the training program will be launched with the first group of military personnel this year and will be included in the European Union’s planned training program for Ukraine.

It was noted that the Czech Republic strongly supports Ukraine after the Russian attack in February of this year and provides it with light and heavy weapons and ammunition.

It was previously reported that the Czech Republic recognized the Russian regime as terrorist.
