Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, said that on Sunday, April 24, the Armed Forces of Ukraine again attacked the airport in Chernobaevka, Kherson region, where the equipment of the occupiers was located. He’s about it wrote on Twitter.

At the same time, the operational command of the South informs about the situation in the region. According to the latest data, in the temporarily occupied territories, Russian troops are introducing measures restricting the rights and freedoms of civilians, in particular freedom of movement – the arrangements that prepare for pseudo -referendum is closed on entry and exit.
At the same time, the enemy continues to fire on cities, towns and villages in the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. Also, the order records an increase in reconnaissance activity near the border of the Nikolaev region.
“An attempt to advance two sabotage and reconnaissance enemy groups of our units was thwarted. Having lost up to 50% of the DRG, the Russians retreated,” the defenders said.
During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine ensured control of the territory in the area of the Mykolaiv region near the administrative border with the Kherson region. At the same time, during the battle, our fighters destroyed 73 Russian military and seven pieces of equipment, including the Pantsir C1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system, automotive and armored vehicles.
Earlier, a video appeared on the Web, as Kherson residents were widely trying to leave the city in protest against the so -called “referendum”, but the occupiers did not allow them to do so.
