The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation refused to take responsibility for shelling on Polish territory, which killed two people.
After the explosions in Poland near the village of Przewodow, Russia began promoting false information that a Ukrainian air defense missile was allegedly the cause. At the same time, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba urged not to believe in fake aggressor countries. On Tuesday, November 15, he wrote to Twitter.
“Russia is now promoting a conspiracy theory that a Ukrainian air defense missile allegedly fell on the Poles. This is not true. No one should be guided by Russian propaganda or reinforce its messages,” said publication.
Kuleba noted that the world community should have “learned such a lesson a long time ago” – after the downing of Boeing 777 flight MH17 in the summer of 201.
Also, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba proposed that the North Atlantic Alliance hold a summit with the participation of Ukraine, as well as provide it with aviation and air defense equipment to shoot down any Russian missiles.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation called the information about the missile in Poland a “provocation”.
Note that Poland is promising a military response to NATO if it turns out that the shelling of its territory, which the Russian Federation denies, was intentional.
