The head of the Canadian government assessed the statements of a Russian official about US biological laboratories in Ukraine as “complete garbage.”
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s propaganda statements about Ukraine “complete garbage” during one of the discussions at the G20 summit in Indonesia. This was reported by public broadcaster CBC News on Tuesday, November 15.
The media reported that this happened during a meeting about health care, which was held behind closed doors. During the event, Lavrov again mentioned the “secret American biological laboratories” allegedly operating on the territory of Ukraine.
Trudeau told his colleagues that these accusations were “complete rubbish” and urged leaders to work with the facts.
We remind you, Trudeau previously said that Canada will provide Ukraine with additional military aid in the amount of 500 million Canadian dollars to counter Russian aggression.
The previous day, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, had a telephone conversation with Justin Trudeau.
