The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation rejects the condition for the withdrawal of troops from Ukraine to start negotiations. They noted that the negotiations should take into account the situation. To this, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry replied that Russia was not in a position to dictate terms. Ukraine’s demands remain unchanged: an immediate cessation of hostilities, the withdrawal of all Russian troops, the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, compensation for the damage caused and the provision of effective guarantees against repetition of the attack. Poland and Germany seized Gazprom’s assets

The German government has decided to nationalize Gazprom’s former subsidiary, SEFE (Securing Energy for Europe), which owns the largest underground gas storage facility in Western Europe, Rehden. The agency justified this move on the imminent insolvency of SEFE, which would endanger the security of supplies in Germany. And Poland deprived Gazprom of managing part of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline. Thus, the country’s authorities transferred the share of Russian Gazprom to EuRoPol GAZ, which owns the Polish section of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline, under compulsory control to avoid paralysis of decision-making in this company and ensure the safety of critical infrastructure.
